Successful year for Translationz in 2019 and we are looking forward to continued growth and success in 2020.
Last week we hosted yearend gathering in Brisbane. It was a fantastic, fun event gourmet food, an Elvis impersonator, costume dress in the theme of the rock and roll theme, gifts for everyone who attended.
Two weeks ago, Translationz hosted the Legal Discussion and Workshop at the Queensland Multicultural Centre. It turned out to be an excellent event from the beginning to end. The expert presenters focused on practical tips for working in the court system. No doubt, every one walked away with better knowledge, concrete practical tips and more confidence to interpret in the courts.
The Q&A was particularly constructive. Interpreters shared their experiences and challenges and the expert speakers provided insight and guidance.
A big thank you to presenters Connie Li, Lynn Geng and Paul Ramage for their generous contribution to the event.

Reproductive and sexual health in clinical settings (1 Day course)
This full-day training will increase the competency and confidence of interpreters and translators in communicating with their clients in aspects of reproductive and sexual health. Participants will gain an understanding of working in various clinical environments in the Australian health care system and be able to more effectively provide interpreting and translating services for health consumers.
