Taking a holiday is something that many people look forward to throughout the year. Whether it’s a quick trip to visit relatives or a dream vacation that’s been years in the making, people rarely expect things to go wrong. Unfortunately, unexpected events can lead to major delays and worse. That’s where travel insurance comes in; those heading out on holiday can buy a policy to protect them from the unexpected while travelling domestically or abroad.
Situations can get tricky when circumstances go wrong abroad, however. Holidays in foreign countries often add another language to accident or theft reports, and insurance companies will require all of the pertinent paperwork to be filed in a English to place a claim. If this is your unfortunate circumstance, we can do our part in helping with providing you with accurate translation services.
When an accident, theft, or other unfortunate occurrence happens to you on your holiday abroad, the event is typically reported to the local police or medical services first. If the country in question is primarily English-speaking, this doesn’t present an issue when filing a claim report back home. However, if the country primarily speaks Spanish, French, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese Italian, Greek or some other language, then things can get tricky. Official reports will likely be in the country’s primary language. And in order to file a claim, the documents will need to be translated to English by a certified translator.
The longer it takes for necessary documents to be translated, the longer it takes to finish filing and approving the insurance claim. This means that timely service is essential. We generally can finish a document translation in two to three business days, or sooner if needed. Of course, it’s important that the quality of the translation doesn’t suffer as a result of speedy service, and we would not disappoint. We would provide error-free translation services so that your claim would not be denied due to a translator accidentally altering the wording of an official report.
We are familiar with overseas police and theft reports as we have seen our fair share. We often receive documents with atrocious handwriting that are barely illegible. However, this does not prevent us from being able to provide you with proper and official translation services in order for you to file your claim.
We are able to translate all commonly spoken languages and translate reports and documents coming from most parts of the world. While we hope that your vacation is most enjoyable and hassle-free, should you need our services to translate your overseas police reports, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We will provide fast and accurate translation service. Wishing you safe travels!
